Our Wilderness Medicine classes are specifically designed to help you overcome the unique challenges that often come with providing medical care in areas that are remote, rugged, and far from traditional medical facilities.

Our courses are available in a variety of formats to fit your specific needs, including our basic 8-hour course, our intermediate 16-hour course, which meets the BSA leader requirement training for high adventure camps, and our 40-hour NASAR Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness EMT upgrade course. Each course is filled with information-packed slide presentations, expert guidance, and hands-on training to ensure that you are fully prepared for any emergency situation.

Please note that prerequisites are required to join our Wilderness Medicine courses, including Wilderness First Aid/Wilderness First Responder, Standard First Aid & Adult CPR and AED. For Wilderness EMT upgrade, state licensure at the EMT or Paramedic level is required.
